You’re a photographer and don’t have a powerbank
You’re a photographer and don’t have a power bank. As a photographer, I have come to rely heavily on technology. From my camera to my laptop, everything requires power to function. However, there have been times when I have found myself in the middle of a shoot with no power source in sight. That's when I realized the importance of carrying a Battery bank with me at all times. In this blog post, I will share my experience of not having a power bank as a photographer.
Experience:
Firstly, let me share an incident of not having a fast charging battery bank that occurred during one of my outdoor shoots I had arrived early in the morning to capture the sunrise and was waiting for the perfect moment to capture the shot. As I was about to take the picture, I noticed that my camera battery was low, and I didn't have a spare battery or a power bank. I had no other option but to stop the shoot and wait for the battery to charge. This delay affected my entire day's schedule, and I ended up missing out on some great photo opportunities.
Another time, I was shooting a wedding and was halfway through the event when my camera battery died. I was in a situation where I couldn't stop the shoot, and I had to find a power source quickly. Unfortunately, there was no power outlet nearby, and I didn't have a power bank with me. I had to borrow a battery from one of the guests, which was not only embarrassing but also unprofessional.
These incidents taught me a valuable lesson. As a photographer, I cannot afford to be without a power source. I realized the importance of carrying a power bank with me at all times. Not having a power bank can result in lost opportunities, missed shots, and a lack of professionalism.
